Quitting my job

I’ve decided, after much deliberation, that it would be a good time to quit my job. I actually like my job. It is the best position I’ve ever had really. It pays more than any other job I’ve had. However, it still comes with a boss. I’m sick of bosses. Though my wife will try, I won’t have a boss after I quit.

For the past 6 months, she has been trying her hand at affiliate marketting, or bum marketing. It seems to be working quite well for her. She has made more than me for the past 3 months. We have saved up enough money to actually float us for about 5 months. Now is a great time for me to try my hand at it as well.

I don’t plan to just do that though. I also want to write software that can be used by the affiliate marketers and create a few websites of my own for various purposes. Wish me luck!

REST is a poor acronym

I just spent a few hours working on a website that pulls google suggested keywords and yahoo suggested keywords. I’m just getting into the whole web services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, etc, and while I find it extremely interesting and rewarding, it tends to keep my brain in overdrive. On the upside, I’m getting a lot of experience and learning a ton.

Developments in PHP

I’ve spent most of my holiday vacation trying to improve the design and functionality of my eBay search tool. I would like to become independently wealthy. I was reading an article in Maxim about the creator of tumblr and thought I’d check it out. I like the design. Great work on the site.
